Bondurant Summer Karting League

Welcome to the newest and perhaps most unique kart racing experience in Phoenix. Bondurant SuperKart School is now sponsoring a summer kart league which will be held outdoors! For you indoor kart racers, this is your opportunity to experience the thrill of outdoor racing while testing your karting skill. Many great racers in Nascar, F1 and Indy Racing League got their start karting outdoors. Please don't miss this opportunity.
Note: At this time, the league will only run for a 10 week period as noted below. Future events have not been determined at this time.
Basic League Information
Location: Firebird Facility in Chandler, AZ. (See map for directions)
From Phoenix: Use Wildhorse Pass exit off of Interstate 10 (I-10 Freeway) and turn right at lights. Take first left (Maricopa Road) to Firebird Facility.
From Tuscon: Use Wildhorse Pass exit off of Interstate 10 (I-10 Freeway) and turn left at lights. Drive over freeway and take first left at bottom of road (Maricopa Road) to Firebird Facility.
Duration: 10 week league on June 11th-18th-25th…July 10th-16th-23rd...Aug. 13th-20th-27th (rain out make up date is now August 28th) and the finals will be on Sept. 10th
Time: 6 pm - 10 pm
Cost: Special note: Prepay has been extended until June 11th ! Cost for the 10 race series is $600 prepay or $70/week. Prepay sharing ok if you can’t make all the dates and have a substitute driver for that week.
Karts: 10 H.P. Briggs/Stratten-Stratos chassis.
Racing: The league will run on a purpose built kart track with 2 configurations (long/short) and run forwards and backwards.
Format: Qualifying race -5 laps / Heat race -15 laps / Main Race -30 laps (Additional information)
Prizes: 1st Place Trophy and your choice of either Shifter Kart class or 4 Hour Arrive and Drive Class held at PKRA with Tag 125 cc Karts; 2nd Place Trophy and 50% off same; 3rd Place Trophy and 25% off same.
